All the Goodies

Pixi Mini Flawless Beauty Primer ($9):  I have used pixi primer in the past, it is really nice.  It is not like the silicone primers I have tried but more creamy and the finish has a little shimmer in it.  I love that I now have a travel sized tube to use.

Nicole By OPI Rougles in On What Grounds? ($8):  I love nail polish!  I also love to try new textured shades, this is a bright sea blue with black and blue flecks.

Be A Bombshell Eyeshadow Quad in Bora Bora ($16):  I love getting new eyeshadows in sub boxes.  These shades are also right up my alley.

Bare Minerals Moxie Lipstick 1.5oz ($9)  I received the shade get ready a rosy neutral.  This photo looks rather pink but the shade is quiet nice!  I love lipstick so this is a welcome product, and I have heard good things about bare minerals lip products.

I totaled this months Ipsy Bag at $42, not bad for the $10 I paid for it.  I love how this months products got back to basics, lipstick, primer, eyeshadow and nail polish all things I can use!

February Ipsy Bag "The Look of Love"

This months makeup bag:  Pretty and Pink!

Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base in One in Violet ($18):  Eye Cordial's revolutionary formula glides on beguiling creamy color and sets to a transfer-resistant finish that doubles as a wear-extending base under powder shadow.

I am loving this shade and formula.  I love purple eyeshadow can't wait to see if it holds up!

Pop Beauty Plump Pout Mini in Fuchsia Freesia ($16):  This plumping pout perfector combines the high-shine of a lacquered gloss with the long wear of a stain and is packed full of lip-plumping peptides and avocado and jojoba oils. Lightweight, creamy texture immediately merges with lips & delivers intense glossy color for an extremely long-lasting finish!

There were two colors available, and again I am happy I got this shade.  I love bright lip glosses this will be perfect for spring and its a great purse sized gloss!
Swatches:  Eyeshadow Cream in Violet and Pop Lipgloss in Fuchsia Freesia
Zoya Polish in Dot ($9):  This season's Zoya Nail polish are full of pure pigment, intense color and modern complexity that are a perfect transition into Spring.

Ipsy subscribers received Odette (muted purple creme, or Dot a pastel pink).  Again, I am thrilled with this shade.  Dot is from the Zoya Awakening's Collection Spring Line which is yet to be released.  I already preordered some of the other spring shades (but not this one) so this will go great with all my new colors on the way!

Skyn Iceland Fresh Start Mud Mask with Ice Age Mud ($6.50):  This 10-minute weekly treatment polishes and re-texturizes skin to reveal a luminous, youthful translucence for a fresh start. This two phase detoxing and brightening mask is an anti-aging, dullness-diminishing super power. Phase I is made up of blue clay and a 13,000 year old oxygenating mud from the Ice Age. Phase II is formulated with a highly effective AHA acid gel complex composed of 5 fruit and sugar acids that work deeply to detoxify and refine skin that's been neglected, depleted and impacted by the stress and strain of a fast-forward lifestyle. The clay phase goes on with a refreshing, cooling sensation and when blended together with the Activating Gel, it effervesces into a warming sensation that oxygenates, clarifies and smoothes the complexion in minutes. Skin soother aloe vera gel makes this safe and effective for even sensitive types.

This product is perfect for me!  I love these kinds of masks, can't wait to try it out!  I will have to report back with the results.

J.Cat Eyelashes + Eyelash Glue ($3.99)  Cause a ruckus as you bat your voluminous faux eyelashes! Each includes an individual eyelash adhesive for endurance through a night on the town!

I am eh about this one.  I have enough falsies to last for awhile (I do wear them on special occasions).  It will go up on my swap board :)

This months Ipsy Bag totaled $53.49, what a great value, I paid $10 for the subscription.  I love this months bag and products, right up my alley this time!  That's whats part of the fun, you never know what you are going to get!  If you want to start getting Ipsy CLICK HERE to sign up!

Ipsy January Bag

My January Ipsy bag arrived last week, but yeah I had already peeked at my Glamroom and knew what I was getting ;)  This month included 5 items and a cosmetic bag!  This months bag theme is 19 reasons, 19 reasons that 2014 will be wonderful, and focused on bonus products that were for your skin.  Ipsy is a beauty subscription service that promises 4-5 deluxe sample or full sized products a month along with a cosmetic bag.  If you are interested in Ipsy CLICK HERE and sign up.  Let's check out the goodies!  Ladies, also remember to review your bags afterwards for Ipsy points that you can use towards free products in the future.

All the Goodies!

Elizabeth Mott Smooth Shadow Pencil in Penny ($6.99):  This pencil can be used as a liner or a shadow.  It has a nice creamy formula and I love the color.  I will use this, I love brown toned eye makeup.

Mica Beauty Tinted Lip Balm in Fiesta 2.5g ($18.75):  This balm promises to hydrate with a tint of color.  I put it on the other night, I would say its a lot of color!  I had to scrub it off, and I am sorry to say it wasn't very moisturizing.  I would call this more of a lip pot.  This may get used we will see, I don't like applying lip products with my finger, and the price is ridiculous!
Swatch of Penny eye pencil and Mica tinted balm

Big Sexy Hair Leave in Conditioner 1.7fl oz ($6.00):  This promises to smooth split ends and nourish hair.  I have never used a leave in conditioner.  I love Big Sexy Hair products, I am excited to try this, my hair is very dry right now with this cold snap!

3 in 1 Revololution Toner Serum from Leeanni Eco.35oz ($2.60):  Toner, Serum and Moisturizer in one, this product says to save you time and last all day.  I love new face products, I will give it a try.  However, can I say that this is not the size of product I have become accustomed to from Ipsy.  I know they promise deluxe sized samples and this is not a "foil packet" but it also is not that large.

Absolute Make Up Cleansing Clothes 10 ct ($2.49):  I use makeup remover toilettes only when I go on vacation or out of town. But, they are appreciated.  I am glad I got the cucumber scent, seems the ladies on Ipsy review do not like the smell of the pomegranate towelletes that some people got.

This months Ipsy bag totaled $36.83, I paid $10 a month so this is a great deal (not counting value for makeup bag).  This month there was a combination of 20 products that you could get, as always some were better than others.  Ipsy seems to be branching out lately and including new brands and new items.  I will use everything in my bag this month and love having new items, what did you get in your January Ipsy bag, any new must have's?

My December Ipsy bag arrived last week, but yeah I had already peeked at my Glamroom and knew what I was getting ;)  This month included 5 items and a cosmetic bag!  This months bag theme was celebration, it is the two year anniversary of Ipsy.
All the Goodies

Nicka K Nail polish in Classic Taupe ($5):  This is a purplish brown color, I actually like it.  Not in the bottle, but it is a nice neutral, and I always appreciate any nail polish colors!

Ardell Lashes with Adhesive ($4):  I used to wear fake lashes on special occasions, but now I wear glasses.  But, I will save these in case I ever need a pair, I am actually quiet good at applying them.

Pop Beauty Shadow Trio ($7.20):  Smokin' Hot palate features three shades of grey shadow.  I wear grays occasionally, I will give these a try.

Be A bombshell highlighter in girl crush ($16):  I love highlighters!  This one is a nice sparkly pink.  I am a fan of Benefit watts up, this is a similar product, but a bit more pink.  Highlighters should be used under your eyebrows, the bridge of your nose, the bow of your lip and the top of your cheekbones to add a reflective light and contour to your makeup look.

NYX lipstick in Iced Honey ($4):  Lipstick is always appreciated, and I love the neutral shade, but I know my mom will like this even more than me, I will pass it on.

The December bag:  A nice neutral black bag, I love it!

I totaled this months Ipsy bag at $36.20, not a bad deal for $10!  This months bag was not my favorite, but I love having new items to try and some to pass on even when I don't love everything!  What did you think of this months Ipsy bag?

GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment masque .5ox ($19):   This is the product I am most excited about!  The ladies on the ipsy forum were all hoping for this one!  This product promises to create tighter skin in 10 minutes and has some great review on Sephora.

Bella Terra Mineral Shimmer in Navy:  ($14.99):  This product says it has 8 different uses!  Mix with water for shadow or liner, use as a hair streak dye, lipcolor, nail polish shading etc.  The color is a navy shimmer.  I will give this a go, even though I have never worn blue eyeshadow, this might be put in the trades pile.  I love the concept, just maybe not the shade?

What I'm Lovin' Wednesday's

Every Wednesday I will let you in on a product or item that is making my life better :)  Hence, What I'm Lovin' Wednesday's!

Last night I finally tried my Michael Todd Pumpkin Nutrient Rich Facial Mask from my August Ipsy bag.  This stuff was great!  It actually is pumpkin, the texture, smell , color etc is all there which threw me off at first!  However, the results were great!  I loved the tingle effect the product had and left my face very soft.  Ipsy has a 30% off code till the end of the month if you order this product I think I might need a full size, however I can see how this deluxe sample I received will last a long time!  Here's the info straight from the site.

 Michael Todd

Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask The Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich Facial Mask is a nutrient rich mask that is blended with Pumpkin and Glycol Acid. This rejuvenating facial treatment removes dead skin, impurities and toxins, moisturizes and firms, improves elasticity and pliability of the skin, unclogs pores allowing skin to breathe and facilitates movement of skin oils. Leave on for 5-10 minutes and rinse. Follow with moisturizer and use sunscreen during the day. May be used at intervals of 1-2 weeks.
