February Must Have PopSugar Box Review

I received my Must Have PopSugar Box on Saturday and finally had the time to inspect the goodies.  This month PopSugar wants us to "relax and sit back and treat yourself."  PopSugar boxes are monthly curated boxes containing the latest "Must Have items."  The month to month price is $39.95, or less if you sign up for more months at a time.  Right now you can use code BOX10 to get $10 off your first box.  I love my PopSugar box this month, so lets check it out!

All the Goodies!

Must Have Beauty:  NCLA Rodeo Drive Royalty Nail Polish ($16):  This is a beautiful deep burgundy shade from NCLA.  I love this color, can't wait to try it out.

Must Have Beauty:  Nourish Organic Pure Hydrating Argan Face Serum ($24):  Made from a concentrated blend of Moroccan, apricot, and rosehip oils, this face serum hydrates and softens skin for a brighter even complexion.  I love new skin products, this is right up my alley.  Last months skin detox mask was amazing!

Must Have Beauty:  Modelco Lip Pops Duo Lip Gloss and Lipstick ($20):  This has a lipgloss on one end and a lipstick on the other.  I love this shade, beautiful and neutral.

Must Have Food:  Sugarwish Mini Red Cinnamon Hearts (est $5):  These are adorable, and the box is really nice.  This online candy gift site lets you choose candies to gift.  This months box also came with a 20% off coupon for the website.

Gorjana and Griffin $25 coupon code
Sugarwish 20% off coupon

We have received Gorjana and Griffin jewelry from Popsugar before, I browsed the website lots of beautiful items, I might hang on to this for their next sale.

Must Have Fashion:  Gorjana Brooks Jewelry Roll ($45):  The next time your on the go use this striking Gorjana jewelry roll to store your pieces, no tangling!  I have traveled with jewelry lots of times in plastic baggies, and yes it gets tangled!  I am very excited to own this product and it will get used, and I love the color!

Inside view, three separate zip pockets.
Must Have Home:  K Hall Designs Peony Candle ($11)  My box didn't have this candle in it (photo from the information brochure)  I emailed customer support, I will pass on what they said.  I hope the company comes through on this, forgetting an item and not doing anything about it would not be ok.

Special Extra:  Dial Vitamin Boost Body Wash ($3):  Give your skin the attention it deserves with this vitamin boosting body wash.  I know some ladies were upset about receiving this "drug store" brand product.  But, it is listed as a special extra, and who doesn't need body wash?  It also smells amazing.

I totaled this months PopSugar box at $149 including the gift card, a great value considering I paid $30 with a multi month plan.  I loved this months box, it was very makeup/product heavy.  I love new items and the jewelry holder something I needed.  What did you think of this months PopSugar box?  Want to subscribe?  Click here and use code box10 for $10 off your first box!

October Barkbox

I received my October Barkbox today!  This month shipped a little later than normal, on October 17th, and I received it on Ocober 23rd so 6 days.  This month's theme was a celebration of the colors and flavors of fall.  The items this month are really cute, and the girls have already dug in!

All the Goodies!
Fruitables Halloween Dog Treats Share Pack ($9.99):  8 mini bags of treats for Halloween visitors.  These are so cute, and the flavors sound good.  My dogs already tried the pumpkin blueberry and they were a hit!

Grilled Bison, Pumpkin and Apple, Pumpkin & Blueberry, Apple and Bacon Flavors

Baker's Best Autumn Harvest goat treats ($8):  Haven't tried them yet, but they look like something my dogs would eat!

Your Dog's Diner Mutt Meatball Mix ($7.99):  Add this mix to a pound of ground beef, an egg and pop it into the oven for a homemade treat (makes 40 teaspoon sized meatballs).  HMMM do my doggies deserve that much love, homemade meatloaf?  I will give it a try!

Pet Qwerks Chevron Bear ($7?):  How cute is this!  Sookie loves new toys I am glad she is getting so many new ones in   the Barkbox's the past few months.  I can't find this toy on their website so I am going with an average stuffed toy price.

Superior Farms Lamb Ears ($3.19):  I already gave one to Athena and she scarfed it down so it must have been delicious!  Never bought these before maybe I should.

This months Barkbox is a winner!  I totaled the value at $36.17, I paid $18 a month for my 6 month subscription.  If you are interested in Barkbox click on this referral link and use code BBSTAFF9BXC9 for $12 off a 6 month subscription!  What did your doggies think of their October Barkbox?

RocksBox Set #3

I got a new set of Rocksbox jewelry in the mail on Thursday.  I mailed in the last set on a Friday, and recieved my new set on Thursday.  I think thats a pretty good turn around since it comes from California, and they have to pick out a new set for you based on your feedback. Heres how Rocksbox works:  You fill out a style profile and get 3 pieces of designer jewelry, averaging over $200 a set in the mail at one time.  You can send the pieces back for new ones as often as you like in prepaid envelopes, or keep any of the items for a discounted price.  You can refresh the items any time and includes free shipping, it a way to "date" your jewelry.  This is the 3rd set I received at again I like 2/3 pieces (seems to be my average.)  Here's what I got!

Urban Gem:  Nautical by Nature ($68, member price $54.40)/  This is the piece I was meh about.  Although it is well made and some would probably love it, I don't see myself wearing it.

Charlene K:  Raw Stone Pendant in Emerald Agate ($120, member price $96.00)  I really like this necklace, I tried it on and it is really heavy!  I have lots of green toned fall shirts that will go great with it, and I don't have anything else like it!

Lucas Jack Pebble Ring in Green and Gold ($69,  member price $55.20).  I also really like this ring!  I have worn it everyday since I got it.  I love the toned down gold and the green stone has a nice pattern in it, a great fall statement piece!

Overall I am still liking my Rocksbox jewelry.  Although, some pieces are hit and miss I am enjoying wearing new pieces every few weeks!  If you want to try Rocksbox you can get you first month for free!   Subscriptions start at $19 a month and are less pricey if you commit to 6 months or 1 year, money back guarantee anytime!  Get your first month free through this referral link:  RocksBox

September Barkbox Review

I also recieved my September Barkbox on Saturday (also Popsugar and Rocksbox) it was like Christmas :)  Barkbox is a monthly doggie subscription service that starts at $19 a month for the month to month plan, less if you sign up for more months.  I chose the small dog box, as I have a 10 pound and a 50 pound dog and my big dog doesn't care how small the treats are, and doesn't play with toys.  Here's what I got this month!

All the Goodies

Aussie Naturals Shark Toy ($ 7.99):  Combines the appeals of rope, squeaker and stuffing free tug toy.    Sookie already is getting some good play time out of this one, she likes tugging toys.

VetraCare Pet ($8.95):  Liquid Bandage disinfects and protects cuts and scrapes.  This is going to come in handy for Athena who like to itch herself till she bleeds during allergy season!  I didn't know such a thing existed, we usually reach for the Neosporin.

Plato Natural Duck Strips ($ 11.99 )
Wagatha's Organic Dog Biscuits in Pizza flavor ($10.95):  These are already a hit around here, they are loving them :) and yes they smell like pizza!

I totalled this months Barkbox at $39.88, what a great deal, I paid $16 a month with a promo code!  The dog's are loving all the new treats and toys, which make me happy too!  If you want to try Barkbox click the (referal link) here: Barkbox sign up and recieve $5 off your first month!  What did your doggies get in their September Barkbox?

Ipsy August Bag

Ipsy is a monthly subscription bag for makeup and other hair and skin products .  You pay $10 a month and receive 4-5 full size or deluxe sized samples along with a makeup bag every month!  I have been with Ipsy for 4 months now and have gotten some seriously great products!  It is fun to try new things, brands and new colors and stay on budget.  Ipsy also sends along coupon promo codes for each brand they feature in their bag that month so its easy to re-buy something you loved.  I also appreciate the facebook spoilers they release in the beginning of the month because I can't handle surprises :)  It seems like most months everybody recieves 3 of the same products and the other 2 you get are chosen for you from your beauty profile from 4-5 items they are featuring that month, so there is some surprises involved.  Ipsy also lets you review your products on their website to better choose future products for you.  Now you know the deal lets get to the goods!

Happy Dog Box

I came across a promo for a free Happy Dog Box I just had to pay $4.99 for shipping.  Happy Dog Box lets you select between small/medium/ or large size dog (larger dog was $9.99 shipping) and then they send you a box of doggie treats and toys each month.  If you keep the subscription they mail you a box once a month and charge $29.99.  I thought I would give it a shot even though I had just signed up for Barkbox (first month is on its way) which is a similar service.  I ordered the box on 7/24 and recieved it on 8/12.  Here's what I thought!

There was an information card with descriptions of each item included.

My box included a bag of "homemade" treats, Dynamo Dog Hip and Joint treats, Kangaroo Jerky, a toy that you can put treats into, a set of poop bags and a chewy bone that is not pictured because my husband couldn't wait to give it to the dog!

Although I am not going to look up the value for each of these items I know it was worth the $4.99 I paid, however I did not feel it was worth the $29.99 a month for the Happy Dog Box service.  I promptly cancelled no harm done!  I can't wait for Barkbox to come so I can compare.
